Health
JMF has been working in the health sector for more than a decade. JMF’s activities in the health sector center on disease prevention through education and skills development of health professionals, public health campaigns, advocacy and networking.

JMF’s Health Department prioritizes activities and projects that focus on children and adolescents’ health, women’s health and community health development.

JMF has set the following strategic objectives to meet the demand of its beneficiaries:
  • Improve accessibility and affordability of quality health care services for children, adolescents and women in Armenia through raising awareness, promoting health education, and building the capacity of health specialists.
  • Improve access of rural communities to health services by providing training, education, and resources to the community members and health care specialists.
JMF does not support individual healthcare services or medical treatment, unless it is part of a wider, more sustainable health initiative.
