Summer Camp 2018 – Armenian Diocese in Georgia

Beneficiaries Description: 150 children (aged 9-14) from needy families, from Akhalkalak and neighboring Armenian villages 

Project Area: Akhalkalak, Georgia 

Project Goal: to enrich the physical, spiritual and social lives of 150 Armenian children (from 9 to 14 years old) from Akhalkalak and neighboring villages of Georgia. 

Project Objectives:

  • Alleviate social problems of Armenian families living in Georgia through providing an opportunity to send their children to the summer camp under a Christian care.
  • Promote children’s physical well being through daily sport activities and provide learning opportunities for children through provision of language, music, dance, drawing and painting and arts & crafts classes.
  • Promote children’s spiritual well being through spiritual discussions and other religious experiences, as well as help them value more their Armenian identity and Christian faith.
