Education For Technical Progress

Beneficiaries Description: Direct beneficiaries are 40-45 high school students. Indirect beneficiaries include MSEC secondary school students, parents, teachers and administration.

Project Goal: To empower 40-45 teenagers (12-16 year-old) at risk  from Malatia/Sebastia and neighboring districts of Yerevan via preparing them for their future education or work career in a specific technical field.

Project Objectives:

  1. To develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills of 40-45 teenagers at risk from Yerevan city’s Malatia/Sebastia and neighboring it districts in electronics, communication technology, and design/ repair of primitive electronic devices.
  2. To enhance leadership, team work, work management skills and work ethics among the teenagers (thus enhancing citizenship and self-reliance among them) through a series of appropriate trainings.
  3. To establish long-lasting contacts between the teenagers/ MSEC and: a/ colleges providing middle technical vocational education; b/ technical Universities; c/ enterprises (both private and state owned) and technical repair service providing offices operating in the field through organization of regular orientation visits to the sites.
