Online Medical Services for the Population of Vardenis Region

Beneficiaries Description: Direct beneficiaries of the project are the population of Vardenis region of Gegharkunik marz

Project Areas: Tsovak village of Vardenis region

Project Goal: improve efficiency and quality of health care for the population living in Tsovak village and surrounded rural areas of Vardenis region of Gegharkunik marz through leveraging Telemedicine techniques to increase access to healthcare and provide affordable high quality medical services to rural population of targeted communities.

Project Objectives:

  1. Provide qualified medical services to rural patients from Tsovak village and surrounding communities in the form of online or in person diagnosis, organization of preventive and therapeutic measures, and provision of proper referrals for treatment at specialized clinics.  
  2. Improve technical capacity of primary care providers at Tsovak Ambulatory by leveraging the knowledge, skills and professional expertize of Maple Leafs Clinic specialists through the received direct technical support in form of mentorship, consultations, shared cases based learning to assist with patients’ treatment plan development and monitoring, support for better chronic condition management.
