Student Council New Model Probation and Parent Councils’ Capacity Development 2025-2026

Beneficiaries:

- 180-200 members of the students’ councils of the schools /9-10 new schools/.

- 300-400 parents from 20 schools will be directly involved in the project.

- the students directly involved in the project activities/ students' initiatives: nearly 2,500.

Project Areas: Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor and Gavar schools

The goal of the project:

  • To increase and improve of parents’ participation and role in 20 schools’ main activities via their knowledge and skills development.
  • To improve SC operations in project-participating schools by implementing a new operations mechanism/ model.

 The objectives of the project are as follows:

  • Objective 1․ The parent councils’ (PC) members in 20 schools have had necessary skills and knowledge to participate in schools’ issues which are appropriate for parents’ engagement.
  • Objective 2 The parent councils’ members have a positive attitude towards their active participation and actively participate in decision making processes in schools.
  • Objective 3․ the new model’s pilot implementation results have been assessed and shared with stakeholders (SC, PC, school administration, etc.).
