Civic Dialogue and Action for Change 2022-2023 in Georgia

Beneficiaries Description: the project will directly target about 150 university students/ youth in Georgia (mainly of Armenian origin) considering the gender balance. Indirect beneficiaries- Armenian community, youth/university students (Armenian and non-Armenian).

Project Areas: Tbilisi and Georgia regions

Project Goal: To enhance Armenians civil participation in Georgia through supporting and encouraging Armenian youth/ university students in Georgia to play more active, capable and informed role in immediate and long term economic, social and political development of country with the aim in mind to strengthen economic, social and political ties between Armenia and Georgia.

Project Objectives:

  1. To enhance Armenian students’/youth civic activeness and involvement in public dialogue in Georgia.
  2. To develop students’ knowledge and skills in CS sector and enhance their civic participation.
  3. To promote university students/ youth to investigate civic issues in the local communities, to find approaches towards the solutions to the identified problems and take appropriate actions.
  4. Establish collaboration with the State authorities for the solution of the identified problems.
  5. To enhance a network of communication and collaboration on social and civil issues between the Armenian and non-Armenian youth in Georgia
