Creative Expression Workshop - 2010

Beneficiaries Description: About 160 school age children from socially vulnerable families that are temporarily residing in the Children’s Care Centre and Protection night school and visiting Child Social Care Centre in Yerevan

Project Areas: Yerevan

Project Goal: To improve the overall social and psychological well being and diminish posible anti-social behaviour of the underprivileged children from special/boarding schools/centers in Armenia, proving their smooth integration into the society.

Project Objectives:

• To develop personal capacities and communication skills of children for their smooth integration into the society through organization of a number of regular weekly workshops.
• To provide beneficiary children with an opportunity and space for having creative and educative leisure time, encourage active cultural life in order to diminish the possible anti-social behavior of the children through preparation and presentation of performances, visits to cultural institutions and meetings with honored performers.
