Beneficiaries Description:
Direct: 400 school students in 40 schools who will directly participate in YEC clubs' activities and 40 mentors of the schools, who will participate in Forum XIV in Warsaw (ten mentors), and series of on-line webinars organized by Polish partner organizations: Copernicus Science Center and HumanDoc Foundation.
Indirect: The schools' communities: the other students of the schools, schools' administrations, and parents.
Project Areas: Yerevan, Shirak and Gegharkunik regional schools
Project Goal: to enhance interest in science, practical knowledge and experimenting skills among students in schools via operation of Young Explorers Clubs in Armenia.
Project Objectives:
- to further enhance the knowledge and skills, experiences in natural sciences (chemistry, physics, biology, etc.), environmental issues, efficient use of energy, etc.
- to further develop a positive attitude towards the science among the students
- to develop creativity and team working/communication skills
- to improve social and communication skills of the club members: teamwork, knowledge exchange, community cooperation, etc.
