Beneficiaries Description: 15 rural communities of Lori region (approximately 15,000 people)

Project Goal: The goal of the CMIP-1 project is to empower Lori region communities to find durable solutions to socio-economic problems within communities through the mobilization of internal and external human and financial resources.

Project objectives:

  1. To facilitate communities mobilization and help to find solutions to local community-based problems through capacity development and practical trainings.
  2. To establish a comprehensive structure to facilitate Community Active Groups (CAGs) continuous activities and overall development.
  3. To encourage the mobilization of community resources to address community based projects and grass roots civic initiatives by matching community contributions within Community Project and Activity Fund.
  4. To facilitate a network of collaboration and synergy between communities at regional level.
