Beneficiaries Description: More than 200 children suffering from autism and CP
Project Areas: Stepanakert, NKR
Project Goal: to improve the quality of life of the children of NKR suffering from autism and cerebral palsy through establishment of a specialized Rehabilitation Day Care Center.
Project Objectives:
- To build a day care center for the children suffering from autism and cerebral palsy by the end of October 2016.
- To train specialists (one doctor, 2 specialized speech therapists, 5 child care pedagogues/teachers and 2 psychologists) for working with the children suffering from cerebral palsy and autism disorder by the end of the 1st quarter of 2017.
- To furnish and equip the day care center for the children suffering from autism and cerebral palsy by the end of the 1st quarter of 2017.
- To conduct outreach visits to the regions of NKR with the purpose of identifying new cases of autism and CP as well as monitor the existing cases that are registered at the centre and have received treatment.
