Beneficiaries Description: Direct beneficiaries are 2,000 - 14-17 years old students from 110 schools of Armenia
Project Areas: Yerevan city and 21 towns and villages of RA: Armavir, Abovyan, Ashtarak, Artashat, Masis, Metsamor, Vagharshapat, Gyumri, Sevan, Gavar, Vanadzor, Aparan, Talin, Stepanavan, Alaverdi, Vardenis, Chambarak, Sisian, Kapan, Amasia and Ijevan.
Project Goal: to promote the further development of civil society by organizing structured debate clubs in the schools
Project Objectives:
- increasing the knowledge and interest of young Armenians in key issues related to the development of civil society, democracy, and human rights,
- building communication and analytical thinking skills that will permit young Armenians to more actively participate in the development of Armenian society, today and later in their adult lives,
- adding value to the education system and increasing enthusiasm of young Armenians for learning through participatory methods.
