Creative Expression Workshop

Beneficiaries Description: 120 institutionalized children from socially vulnerable families from Yerevan boarding school #10 and 180 institutionalized children from socially vulnerable families from Yerevan boarding school #3

Project Area: Yerevan, Armenia

Project Goal: To improve the overall social and psychological well being of the underprivileged children from boarding schools in Armenia.

Project Objectives:

1. To encourage institutionalized children residing in the boarding schools #3 and #10 in Yerevan to express creatively and to explore their individual capacities, creativity, cooperation and other skills through involving children in creative expression workshops, plays, musical productions and other cultural activities.
2. To provide the institutionalized children of boarding schools #3 and #10 with basic knowledge on theater, puppetry, Armenian and international culture through participation in creative expression workshops, visits to cultural institutions and meetings with honored artists and performers.
