Online Medical Services Development at Sarukhan Ambulatory of Gavar Region of Armenia

Beneficiaries Description: Direct beneficiaries of the project are the population of Gavar 

Project Areas: Sarukhan village of Gavar region 

Project Goal: to improve efficiency and quality of health care for the population living in Sarukhan village and surrounded rural areas of Gavar region of Gegharkunik marz through leveraging Telemedicine techniques to increase access to healthcare and provide affordable high quality medical services to rural population of targeted communities.

Project Objectives:

  • Provide qualified medical services to rural patients from Sarukhan village and surrounding communities in the form of online or in person medical consultations, diagnosis, organization of preventive and therapeutic measures, and provision of proper referrals for treatment at specialized clinics.  
  • Improve professional capacity of primary care providers of Sarukhan ambulatory by leveraging the knowledge, skills and professional expertise of Maple Leafs Clinic specialists through the received direct technical support in the form of mentorship, consultations, shared cases based learning to assist with patients’ treatment plan development and monitoring, support for better chronic condition management.   
  • Conduct outreach clinics for the rural patients.
