Beneficiaries Description: The average number of project target beneficiaries is 480/ per year (960 in total), 14-17 year of age, students from 24 schools of Armenia.
Project Areas: Six cities of Armenia – Artashat, Gavar, Armavir, Ashtarak, Echmiadzin and Masis.
Project Goal: to promote the further development of civil society by organizing structured debate clubs in the schools.
Project Objectives:
- increasing the knowledge and interest of young school age Armenians in key issues related to the development of civil society, democracy, and human rights,
- building on-line communication and analytical thinking skills of school age youth that will permit them to more actively participate in the development of Armenian society, today and later in their adult lives, ,
- adding value to the education system and increasing enthusiasm of young Armenians for learning through in-person and on-line participatory methods.
